See that round silver thing in both photos? Well it's a rechargeable battery. You have to remove the battery from this device to recharge it.

In both photos you can see a glass pipe. Find it? Now follow the glass pipe to the other side of the wooden box and there is an intake hole on the side of the box to allow you to suck in air into the box.

See the large round hole drilled in the wooden box? That is where you put your tobacco.

There is a heater under it. Originally I thought they had a microprocessor to control the temperature. I was wrong! There is NO computer in this device. You control the temperature by pressing a button on the box that turns the heater on and off.

What temp is the screen? How do you control the temperature?

The Box is usually calibrated to be at 380 Fahrenheit four seconds after the moment the Box is started, assuming a fairly slow constant draw rate and average environmental conditions.

The temperature in the device is controlled by the draw rate (ie, breath control). Like with the wind, faster tends to mean cooler. To get higher temperatures in the load, you need to draw very slowly. By drawing directly from the Box, you will also be able to sense the temperature of the vapor stream as well as the taste. Also, the battery is left in only for the duration of the hit.

How many loads will a battery last for?

The simplest and easiest way is to figure that one battery will support (roughly) one load. translation - it sucks current like crazy Source
