My Trac Phone may work in MexicoOriginally I was told that Trac phones won't work in Mexico. That could be wrong. The Trac phone have SIMs in them just like the other cell phones that work in Mexico.I was at some a T Mobil cell phone shop today and the guy showed me a cell phone and the SIM that is in it. The SIM is identical to the SIM in my Trac Phone.
I talked to a guy at Wal-Mart and he told me to buy my Mexican cell phone in the USA. He said in Mexico the phone will cost $100+ while in the US it will cost $15 or $20. He told me to get an ATT or T-Mobil phone. He said they use both in Mexico. He also said to get a GSM phone. I suspect that is what they use in Mexico. But he said that you can't use the SIM card that comes with the phone in Mexico. He says you will have to buy a SIM card in Mexico to use the phone there. She told me you could use either an ATT phone or a T Mobile phone. She said that she got her Mexican SIM card for the phone at a store in Nogales Mexico called: SorianaShe told me you could also buy Mexican phone cards at the Wal-Marts in Mexico. Her store which was inside the Pro's Ranch Market is Frontera CellularI think the store in Chandler is that big out Mexican swap market or the place that looks like a swap market which is between Galveston and Oakland Streets on the west side of Arizona Avenue. Free Android phones from CricketWhile I was in the area I also noticed that the folks that sell Cricket phones were giving away free Android phones if you trade your old cell phone into them.Since I have 3 days on mine maybe I should do that.
