Baby killers board first?
Shame on U.S. Airways for honoring the mercenaries that help the American Empire terrorize the world! Because of this I think people should boycott U.S. Airways. Don't fly on an airline that supports the illegal, unconstitutional, and immoral wars in Afghanistan and Iraq!!!! US Airways to let military board first by Dawn Gilbertson - Dec. 9, 2011 02:18 PM The Arizona Republic US Airways next week will begin offering priority boarding to active military members in uniform. The Tempe-based airline announced the change in its company newsletter on Friday. Military members will board first, before first-class passengers and the airline's most frequent fliers. US Airways spokeswoman Valerie Wunder said the idea came from US Airways employees and customers. Some airport employees were already offering priority boarding to military members as a courtesy. As part of the change, US Airways is moving family boarding. Families traveling with children ages 2 and younger will now board after first-class travelers and elite frequent fliers. US Airways and other carriers also offer other privileges to military members, including waived baggage fees for those traveling on orders. Many airlines changed those policies earlier this year following a public uproar over excess baggage fees that Delta charged soldiers returning from Afghanistan. |
