I used to live in Anaheim and Brea.
I don't think I have lived in Placentia, but
it is east of Fullerton and between Anaheim and Brea.
All three of those cities are next to Fullerton. In Fullerton the police brutally beat to death a homeless man named Kelly Thomas. So I really think the cops could care less about the murders. In fact they are probably happy about the murders, because in their sick minds it means that there are 3 less homeless people they have to deal with. Police seeking public's help in O.C. transient murders December 31, 2011 | 11:20 pm Police in three Orange County cities are investigating similar murders involving transient victims. Detectives in Anaheim, Brea and Placentia are working together on the homicides, although it's not yet confirmed that there is any connection, said Sgt. Bob Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department. The killings began Dec. 20. Each man was stabbed to death, Dunn said. The first victim, a 53-year-old man, was found in the 100 block of North Bradford Avenue in Placentia. Eight days later, a 42-year-old man was discovered on the riverbed trail near Tustin Avenue in Anaheim, Dunn said. And Friday, the body of a 57-year-old man was found in the 18100 block of Imperial Highway in Yorba Linda. Officials will be handing out fliers to alert local homeless populations and are asking for the public's help in notifying them of suspicious activity around spots where the homeless congregate. "We want everyone to watch out for the homeless population,'' Dunn said. "If they see something unusual, give us a shout." Tipsters can call (714) 765-1944 or send an e-mail to: htf@anaheim.net |
