Does Internet Explorer have a bug in it that keeps it
from displaying text that has both an
and a

tag combined as
and a ?
Bug when I and B tags are combinedIn this URL I ask if there is a bug in Internet Explorer or Fire Fox that prevents text from being displayed correctly when both an I and a B tag are combined. An tag is used to make text italic. An tag is used to make text bold. And here we combine the tag and the tag to make the text bold and italic. Now I will flip the order of the tags and see if the bug surfaces as italic followed by bold italic and bold. OK, now lets try to do the same thing using classes. This is bold text using the class .test_bold {font-weight:bold;}. This is italic text using the class .test_ital {font-style:italic;}. Now we combine bold & italic text using the class test_bold_ital {font-weight:bold; font-style:italic;}. And last but not least we will flip the bold and italic around in the class with this test_ital_bold {font-style:italic; font-weight:bold;}. |
